BREATHWORK AND HEALING AT WASING ESTATE

Early bird cost Single Bell Tent £795 Shared Bell Tent £625 by March 31st

This 3-day, 2-night Women’s Retreat offers a healing and gentle immersion into nature within a supportive environment, set in the stunning surroundings of Wasing’s Woodland. Accommodation is in cosy single or shared bell tents with airbeds provided, pitched in the heart of Wasing woodland.

Throughout the retreat we will tap into the bliss state of just being. Being with yourself, being in sisterhood and being in full presence of your body & creative life force wisdom. The process offers women a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationship dynamics, fostering freedom, transformation, and a sense of wholeness.

A time of deep personal transformation, the retreat offers the opportunity to explore and understand patterns, let go of the past, experience ancestral healing, increase energy levels, improve sleep, enhance creativity, reclaim your power and feel more connected.

We will combine a range of healing practices, including breathwork, parts work, bi-lateral processing, bodywork, coaching, somatic healing, shamanic techniques, movement, and a fire ceremony. During the retreat, we will be holding an outdoor sauna and wild swims by the lake for the ultimate reset.

Rebecca Dennis and The Breathing Tree Team are joining together to create a safe, supportive and powerful healing space for women to connect, inspire and breathe together. All facilitators are experienced and highly skilled in a variety of fields including breathwork, trauma release, somatic and healing techniques.

Joining us on the Tuesday afternoon session will be our dear sister, Alex Bedoya. Alex is a Medicine woman and therapist from Ecuador with 25 years of experience working with indigenous elders from Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru. This session will integrate ancestral healing, bioenergetic therapy, somatic practices, and shamanism to help individuals release physical, emotional, and spiritual blockages.

What You Can Expect:

This is an opportunity to explore the power of your breath and dive deep into understanding ingrained patterns, clearing obstacles, and releasing restrictions that hold you back from reaching your highest potential—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

During the retreat, Rebecca and the team will introduce self-enquiry topics which encourage a deeper self-awareness of who we are and inspire further consideration of who we aspire to be. These exercises are designed to complement breathwork to bring clarity of vision, remove obstacles and blockages and offer tools and insights you can take outside of the space and into your daily life.

Over the three days, we will offer a variety of breath, body and mind techniques whilst gaining an understanding of the nervous system’s intricate landscape. Learning how we can upgrade our breathing and mindset for optimum health. Providing a deep understanding of the impact the way we breathe has on every aspect of our lives – mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Conscious somatic breathwork is the bridge from our mind to our body and helps us be more open to listening to the messages and insights within. This can help release unhealthy breathing patterns, limiting beliefs, and physical and emotional tension, bringing about a deeper awareness of breathwork and release both physical and emotional tension from the body. This can dramatically shift the way you feel and bring higher states of awareness.

The Retreat Will Cover:

  • Understanding how our breathing patterns affect life patterns
  • Nervous system regulation
  • Bi-lateral processing and parts work
  • Somatic trauma healing techniques
  • Effective and easy-to-use tools to improve our respiratory system
  • How the breath affects physiology – including ways to improve sleep, alleviate stress and anxiety, enhance mental focus, boost lung capacity, strengthen the cardiovascular system, and increase energy and physical performance
  • Untangling family dynamics.
  • Healing relationships with parents to access life force.
  • Soul and body retrieval to reconnect lost parts of oneself.
  • Releasing mental, emotional, and physical tension.
  • Overcoming limiting beliefs to find one’s rightful place in life.
  • Learning to trust and receive from one’s body.

Please note: This is deeply healing work, which at times can bring up emotional and physical release. The Breathing Tree Team hold a safe and supportive space for everyone, with aftercare available throughout.

We are limiting the group to 18. More details to follow once a booking is made.

Our Food & Your Dietary Needs

In line with sustainable practices across the Estate, the retreat is fully catered with delicious home-cooked and locally sourced vegetarian food, as well as food foraged from the wild. Meals can be enjoyed in the covered dining area. There is a fire lit for the days and evenings.

Food Allergies & Intolerances

Please notify us well in advance of your stay if you have any food allergies or intolerances. You can submit this information to us in the Booking Form, which is sent via a link, found in your booking confirmation email.

Silence

Our retreat includes some periods of silence as a way of deepening into mindful awareness. If you are new to spending time in silence in the company of other people, it can feel awkward to begin with. However, people usually find this to be a useful experience and we encourage you to explore the silent periods with a spirit of openness and curiosity.

Sustainability

Wasing takes sustainability seriously. We use compost toilets and gas-powered showers in the woodland. The gardens are managed organically, and we only use biodegradable cleaning products. Please bring soaps and toiletries that are eco-friendly. We ask that any non-eco sunscreen be avoided due to an endangered dragonfly protected in the lakes we use for swimming.
