Saturday 13th November, 11:30 – 2:00pm
This unique workshop will be combining ancient and modern healing methods. An opportunity to set intentions, express your voice, feel freedom within, breathe, find space, purpose and make way for the next part of the process that we are all sharing at this time. An important part of this journey will support insight, flow, creativity and authentic connection to self.
Rebecca and Alex will lead you on a powerful journey with your breath, body, ceremony and ritual taking you away from your mind and into your body, raising your vibrations and leaving you with a sense of calm, clarity and blissful energy.
Hidden traumas, beliefs and blockages often force our body to suppress and carry difficult feelings and emotions and this reflects back on our health, personal life choices and vitality.
Bringing the wisdom from traditional medicine grandmothers, we invite our bodies to open up, always respecting the body’s boundaries, welcoming rejected parts of ourselves to be expressed and integrated in a gentle, compassionate and loving way. Held in a sacred space of nurturing beauty, we open our bodies and breath to receive the return to wholeness.
Both the jaw and pelvis are known to be our avenues of expression – on physical and verbal levels. Think about what happens to your jaw when holding back from expressing yourself. Suppressed anger, fear, and negative emotions can cause you to clench and grind your teeth, or build stress in the jaw. Similarly, this happens to your body when you are in a stressful situation, you may feel your abdomen, hips and pelvic floor muscles tense up, or your buttocks clench? Years of sexual repression and unspoken feelings can be held in the body’s fascia and muscles as tightness and pain.
There will be practical and easy tools shared for deep exploration & release – from disconnection to beauty, working through the body’s memory.
You will learn the science of how correct breathing patterns helps improves both your physical and mental health and you will be given simple tools how to change the way your mental and physical states by using conscious breathing.
Both Rebecca and Alex have years of experience holding a safe and transformative space and there will be facilitation with hands-on pressure point therapy, ritual, ceremony sound, movement and affirmations.
